The Chastain Park Arts Festival in Atlanta features outstanding local, regional and national artists. In addition to fine art works the 2011 Chastain Park Arts Festival has something for everyone including foods from local restaurants, live performances and parades.
Around 40,000 art enthusiasts are expected to visit with painters, sculptors, photographers, metal and wood craft-persons, jewelers and graphic artists. In addition the festivities include art activities, demonstrations, and live entertainment along with food and beverages.
The two day weekend event takes place rain-or-shine Saturday, November 5 from Noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday, November 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Chastain Park next to the Chastain Park Amphitheater. The Chastain Park area has evolved into one of the most vibrant art-loving communities in Atlanta, GA.
