NCAA Basketball: ACC Basketball Tournament – this will be the sixth time the City of Atlanta will serve as host for the ACC Tournament. Previously, the basketball tournament was held in the Omni 1983, 1985, and 1989. The Georgia Dome served as host in 2001 and 2009.
The 2001 ACC Basketball Tournament still stands as the most-attended conference basketball tournament in NCAA history for both total attendance (182,525) and per session attendance (36,505). This year the league moved to Philips Arena to provide fans and teams with a more traditional and intimate environment.

Atlanta Entertainment: WWE Raw SuperShow – John Cena has asked The Rock to join forces with him against The Awesome Truth at the Survivor Series in Atlanta. This is after John Cena and The Rock had agered to battle each other at Wrestlemania XXVIII.
It will be interesting to see if The Rock will partner with Cena to combat the treacherous duo of The Miz and R-Truth at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Whatever happens it should be a fantastic Monday Night at the WWE Raw SuperShow in Atlanta.
