Things To Do In Atlanta – January
Things To Do in Atlanta for the month of January 2011 include the annual Monster Jam and Atlanta Boat Show. The 2011 New Year promises to be exciting and Downtown Atlanta will be a big part of it as hosts many sporting events.
It’s a fantastic time to be an Atlanta sports fan. The Atlanta Falcons are on fire and will begin their playoff run at the Georgia Dome. Meanwhile the Hawks and Thrashers are flying high and are positioning themselves for a run at the championship.
Other popular things to do around the metropolitan area include Ovo by Cirque du Soleil and Bodies The Exhibition. Both events are at Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta.

Atlanta Comedy: Brian Regan – clever comedian known for his “clean comedy” routines has appeared on David Letterman and Brian Conan’s Late Night Shows as well as Comedy Central. Performance starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 15th at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in the Galleria Complex – North Atlanta.

Monster Jam Atlanta: Monster Jam Trucks – an annual Atlanta Event featuring the biggest and baddest Monster Trucks including Grave Digger, Stone Crusher and Maximun Destruction as they race for bragging rights. These Monster Trucks can generate up to 2000 horsepower and can go airborne for 125 feet. The Monster Jam 2011 Truck event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome across from Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta.
