Atlanta Parade: Children’s Christmas Parade 2010, the Southeast’s largest holiday parade attracts over 300,000 people. This is a wonderful way for kids and the family to start their holiday season. The parade starts in Downtown Atlanta at Peachtree St. near Baker St. The parade is sponsored by Childern’s Healthcare of Atlanta and runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Make sure to get there early to get a good spot or you can purchase bleacher seats for $12. The Atlanta Christmas Parade features holiday floats, marching bands, giant balloons and Santa Claus.
