The new look Atlanta Thrashers are ready for the NHL 2010-2011 season. The Atlanta Thrashers have recently added free-agent forward Nigel Dawes to their roster. Dawes totaled 32 points while playing for the Calgary Flames last season. It looks like Nik Antropov, Niclas Bergfors, Bryan Little and Evander Kane, Andrew Ladd, Rich Peverley will carry the load for the first two scoring lines.
Its too early to tell yet, but without any superstars but the Atlanta Thrashers, a.k.a. Blueland will have to rely on team chemistry and depth to make a playoff run. Last year the Thrashers finished with 83 points and a record of 35 wins and 34 losses. They just missed the the playoffs despite having the twelfth best offense in the National Hockey League.
