Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks had an exciting 2008-09 season and ending up in 2nd place in the Southeast Division. They made it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals before losing to the dynamic Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 2009-10 season looks promising, bringing back the same core group of players that helped them to the playoffs last year. The Atlanta Hawks also made an intelligent move in the off-season by signing free agent scoring machine Jamal Crawford improving the back-court depth.

Although the Hawks have only one only winning NBA Championship in 1957, they remain one of the most victorious teams in NBA history. They also had one of the most thrilling players ever to touch the basketball. In 1982 the Atlanta Hawks acquired Dominique Wilkins. His nickname was the “The Human Highlight Film” and became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer.
Today, the Atlanta Hawks are a young talented team led by all star guard Joe Johnson. Other exciting players include power forward Al Horford, small forward Josh Smith and guard Mike Bibby. The Hawks are coached by Mike Woodson, who is in his fifth season at the helm.
