Black Eyed Peas World Tour

Currently performing The E.N.D. World Tour 2010, the Black Eyed Peas (abbr. BEP) are an internationally famous hip hop band from Los Angeles, Ca. The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies) is the bands fifth studio album.
According to Billboard magazine, the Black Eyed Peas joined a very elite group of artists who have held the No.1 and 2 Spot on the Hot 100 simultaneously. From 18 April 2009, when “Boom Boom Pow” reached #1, through 10 October 2009, the last week “I Gotta Feeling” was at #1, the group was on top of the chart for 26 weeks, more consecutive weeks than any other artist. Also, the Black Eyed Peas set a record for the longest successive No. 1 chart run by a band in the Billboard Hot 100’s history. “I Gotta Feeling” hit its fifth consecutive week at No. 1, following 12 weeks at the top by the Peas’ “Boom Boom Pow”.
Originally before Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am and apl.de.ap were in a group called The Atban Klann and signed to Eazy E’s Ruthless Records. After the death of Eazy-E in 1995, the members decided to change their name into Black Eyed Peas.
In 2003, the group had to hire a female vocalist to replace Kim Hill. Now the group is composed of Taboo, Fergie, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist will.i.am and vocalists apl.de.ap. Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, was chosen and featured in the group’s 2003 breakthrough album named “Elephunk”. Fergie used to be a member of a teenage band called Wild Orchid.
One of Elephunk’s famous hits was “Where Is The Love” which focuses on standing up against war, and is also considered as the Black Eyed Peas’ first major hit. “Where Is The Love” got the 8th spot on the US Hot 100 chart, and then eventually topped the other charts all over the world. In the U.K., that single was 2003’s biggest-selling one out of all the U.K. singles released.
Since their album Elephunk in 2003, the group’s hip hop/dance-oriented style has sold an estimated 23 million albums worldwide and 29 million singles. They scored their first worldwide hit with “Where Is the Love?” in 2003, which topped over ten charts worldwide. Another single was the European hit “Shut Up“.
Their next album Monkey Business was another worldwide hit, certified 3x Platinum in the US, spawning two hit singles “My Humps“and “Don’t Phunk With My Heart“. In 2009, the group is one of only eleven artists to have ever held the number 1 and 2 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time with their singles “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling”, from the album The E.N.D., and the singles also topped the chart for an unprecedented 26 consecutive weeks in 2009.

The Kiss Alive 35 Tour transcends the music from one of rock and rolls most influential bands to a new generation of fans.
It is true that you must see Kiss live to truly appreciate the Kiss Legacy and why it continues to grow with each record and concert tour.
Kiss has been dubbed the “Hottest Band in the World” because their concerts feature a wild pyrotechnics display like no other.
“Firehouse”, “Rock and Roll All Nite”, “Forever”, and “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” along with cuts from their newest album SONIC BOOM, are some of the great rock songs that fans can look forward to.
There’s also the usual blood spitting, smoke bombs, complex lighting, and fire breathing theatrics that go along with every Kiss concert!
Kiss has sold over 100 million records worldwide putting them in an elite class of hard rock bands. Their heart pounding music in the 70’s laid the foundation for arena rock and heavy metal that would soon take over the rock scene in the 80’s. With catchy pop rock songs, outrageous costumes, and elaborate stage shows Kiss Mania took hold turning the band into a marketing machine that has made hundreds of millions.
