Martinis & IMAX® Fright Night

Fright Night at FernbankLooking for something to do Halloween Weekend?

Fernbank’s popular Halloween event for adults, Martinis & IMAX® Fright Night, has scored a totally rad plutonium-powered DeLorean and we are heading back in time to the decade where it was okay to wear acid washed jeans and a scrunchie. (Yes, we are saying it’s not okay to wear those things now! Duh!)

Not only are we going back to the ’80s, we are totally taking you to prom! This year’s theme is When Good Proms Go Bad. So channel your inner teenager and don your best prom duds because we are totally crowning Prom King and Queen. Like, really.

Fright Night features include live music by Flux Capacitor, bringing you 1.21 gigawatts of high voltage ‘80s rock & pop classics from A-Ha to ZZ Top!

And for one night only, join us for a special “screaming” of Carrie* in Fernbank’s Auditorium at 8pm and 10pm. You know, that place where, like, people learn stuff. But don’t be a dork, ‘k? We can’t let everyone in. Seriously, space is limited in the Auditorium, so you totally have to pick a show time in advance or miss out like a loser.

Tickets for this radical prom-o-rama start at $7 for general event admission and are as follows:

  • Cover only (lame): $7 for non-members, free for members
  • Cover and admission to Carrie: $7 for non-members and members
  • Cover and IMAX®:  $12 for adults, $11 for students and seniors and $7 for members
  • A year’s worth of embarrassment over your prom photo: PRICELESS

Tickets for this special event must be purchased by calling 404.929.6400 or in person at Fernbank’s Box Office.

Don’t be an airhead. Martinis & IMAX® (and especially Fright Night) is designed for adults; some content may not be suitable for children. Fernbank Museum encourages responsible drinking.

Before you spaz out, we are aware Carrie was released in 1976, 4 years before the most bodacious decade ever, but could there be a more perfect movie for this theme?
