Nine time Grammy Award Winner Wynton Marsalis will perform live at Atlanta Symphony Hall with the Jazz at Lincoln Center. The concert will feature popular works from Theolonious Monk and Herbie Hancock. In honor of Mr. Marsalis’s 50th birthday, this new tour will feature a retrospective of his past big band compositions and modern renditions of classic jazz favorites.
Wynton Marsalis is an outstanding jazz musician, trumpeter, big band leader, musical director and composer. He holds the distinction of being the only artist ever to win Grammy Awards for both jazz and classical records, and he is the only artist to win Grammy Awards for five consecutive years.
