The 2010 Spring Atlanta Home Show brings the latest innovations and trends in home living all under one roof. Find out how to make your home more enjoyable by touring the different galleries and speaking with experts from the home building and home remodeling industries.
Highlights from the Atlanta Home Show feature the Viking Cooking Stage, Educational Sessions, Artist Showcase and the Total Wine Experience. The 32 Annual Spring Atlanta Home Show is coming to the Cobb Galleria Centre, March 19–21, 2010.
Viking Cooking:
Be entertained in person by the Viking chefs at the Viking Cooking Stage as they show off their expert culinary techniques and recipes. In addition there will be foods prepared by local Atlanta restaurants such as Maggiano’s Little Italy, The Cheesecake Factory, and Stoney River Legendary Steaks.
Home Education:
Learn the latest trends in outdoor living and home landscaping. Experience the educational sessions designed to save you time and money on home remodeling projects. Find out how to give your home a physical, choose the right contractor, protect your house from mold, and perform a home energy audit.
Total Wine Experience:
A new event this year at the Spring Atlanta Home Show is the Total Wine Experience. For a $5 donation to benefit Hope Atlanta, you can sample fine wines from around the world. While helping a good cause you can have a good time and learn from the wine experts.
The special wine tasting events will be offered from 11:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 12:30 – 6 p.m. on Sunday. Here is a list of the wines that will be featured at the show:

The Spring Atlanta Home Show is one of the premier Atlanta Events catering to the home industry. Show hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m. Home Show tickets for adults are $10. Children 12 and under and adults 65 and over are admitted for free. Two-day passes are available for $15. Discount coupons are available through the website or the Atlanta Home Show’s Facebook page. St Patrick’s Parade 2010

Irish eyes will be smiling when the 2010 Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade marches down Peachtree St. Every year this traditional Atlanta Event seems to get bigger and better. The city has long ties to the Irish noting the first Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade occurred over 150 years ago!
Thousands of Irish-loving people will line the streets when the parade begins at the intersection of Peachtree St. and Ralph McGill Blvd. in Downtown Atlanta. Entertainment along the parade route will feature Irish dancers, Bagpipers, floats, Drum Corps, thousands of children, and the Anheuser Busch Clydesdales. In addition there’s clowns, fire engines, vintage cars, police units, dignitaries from Ireland, dogs, and a multitude of bands.

The Grand Marshal for the 2010 Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade will be Coach Vince Dooley.

After the parade goes through and finishes at Underground Atlanta where the celebration continues. Fountain Plaza at Upper Alabama St. is where to find children activities and the Interactive Kids Zone. The St Patrick’s Festival features live entertainment, food, music and of-course green beer!

St. Patty’s Day Parade is now entering its 128th year and is the largest parade in Atlanta. The best part is you don’t have to be Irish to participate. It’s a great family festival and Atlanta event that emphasizes children, school and immigrants.

Cyberchase at The Children’s Museum

Cyberchase is derived from the PBS Kids Go show that achieved an Emmy award. Cyberchase: The Chase is On! is an educational exhibition that encourages kids to develop a fascination with math.
It’s the time-honored good verse evil story of a despicable Hacker who strives to control Cyberspace. However, three kids Matt, Inez, Jackie along with digit are driven to stop him.
What is make this exhibit so intriguing is the involvement of the children to help the Cybersquad in order to protect the universe from the hideous Hacker. Its interactive media taken to a whole new level bringing television, the web, and classroom activities together. Meanwhile the kids explore all kinds of mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, fractions and probability.
Once inside Cyberspace children will discover popular cybersites such as Control Central, Poddleville, and the Grim Wreaker. They will even have a chance to hang out with Digit and meet the peace keeping commander of Cyberspace, Motherboard.
Cyberchase: The Chase is On! exhibit is currently at Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta February 13 through June 6, 2010.
