Cyberchase at The Children’s Museum

Cyberchase is derived from the PBS Kids Go show that achieved an Emmy award. Cyberchase: The Chase is On! is an educational exhibition that encourages kids to develop a fascination with math.

It’s the time-honored good verse evil story of a despicable Hacker who strives to control Cyberspace. However, three kids Matt, Inez, Jackie along with digit are driven to stop him.

What is make this exhibit so intriguing is the involvement of the children to help the Cybersquad in order to protect the universe from the hideous Hacker. Its interactive media taken to a whole new level bringing television, the web, and classroom activities together. Meanwhile the kids explore all kinds of mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, fractions and probability.

Once inside Cyberspace children will discover popular cybersites such as Control Central, Poddleville, and the Grim Wreaker. They will even have a chance to hang out with Digit and meet the peace keeping commander of Cyberspace, Motherboard.

Cyberchase: The Chase is On! exhibit is currently at Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta February 13 through June 6, 2010.
