Atlanta 4th of July Fireworks
In celebration of the 2014 Independance Day, Atlanta will host some of the best July 4th Fireworks Shows in the nation. Top ranked fireworks include the “4th of July Celebration at Centennial Olympic Park“, “4th of July Celebration at Lenox Square” and the “Fantastic Fourth Celebration” at Stone Mountain Park.


4th of July Celebration at Centennial Olympic Park

The award winning 4th of July Celebration at Centennial Olympic Park in Downtown Atlanta has the spectacular Atlanta Skyline as it’s backdrop. This fireworks show has been dubbed “Atlanta’s best fireworks display” due in part to its synchronization to a special blend of patriotic music.

In addition to the spectacular fireworks show, there are many kinds of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Festivities for children are near the Fountain of Rings at Centennial Olympic Park. Kids activities include riding and jumping on the inflatables, face painting, arts and crafts and more. Festivities are planned rain or shine! This year, Centennial Olympic Park opens its gates at 6pm and the fireworks display begins around 9:40pm.

It is highly recommended to make use of MARTA for transportation. Convenient stops along the MARTA system include the West Line at the Philips Arena/Dome/GWCC Station (W-1) or exit the North Line at Peachtree Center (N-1). Just follow the signs to Centennial Olympic Park.

4th of July Celebration at Lenox Square

The 4th of July Celebration at Lenox Square in Buckhead is the “largest fireworks show in the Southeast” boasting over 4000 shots and a very popular Atlanta Event attracting over 200,000 people!

The fun begins at noon inside Lenox Square Mall with face painting, balloon artists, costumed characters and Uncle Sam on stilts. This 4th of July Celebration even has a Kids Zone Area.

Live musical performances begin at 6 p.m. starting out with a special Blackhawk military fly-over. The 4th of July Celebration at Lenox Square begins at 9:40 p.m. and includes three teaser finales and a super grand fireworks finale that’s a Pyrotechnic Extravaganza!

Fantastic Fourth Celebration

4th of July AtlantaThe Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park is a three day Atlanta event that begins with a laser show and follows with a traditional fireworks display. What makes this fireworks extravaganza special is that it immediately follows the lasershow spectacular that Stone Mountain Park is famous for. The fireworks are shot not only from the base but also the top of Stone Mountain lighting up the entire sky.

All-American Celebration with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Fourth of July All-American CelebrationJoin the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for a special evening July 4th (8pm) with ASO conductor Jere Flint.

Program will include Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, patriotic songs and the 94th Airlift Wing Dobbins Base Honor Guard. The night will culminate with a dynamic pyrotechnics display featuring fireworks by Pyrotechnico.  For more information on the July 5th All-American Celebration visit here.
