The Atlanta Ballet starts off an exciting 2010-2011 season of dance with Moulin Rouge followed by the Family Classic -the Nutcracker at the Fabulous Fox Theatre!
Other performances featured are Sleeping Beauty, Lambarena, and Evening of New Works.

Moulin Rouge® – The Ballet
In the spirit of the Moulin Rouge® of Paris
Choreographed by Jorden Morris
Moulin Rouge is a musical based on the romance between two young lovers in the French Quarter of Paris. The romance is full of passion and is centered around the cabaret Moulin Roge which is place of origin of the famous can-can dance.

Nutcracker

The Nutcracker is the most famous of all ballets and not only an American tradition but a Fox Theatre
tradition as well! The original Nutcracker dates back to 1892 and is the most popular work done by Tchaikovsky.
It’s wonderful way to get in the holiday spirit of the holiday season with family and friends. Get the

The Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty is the classic fairy tale of beautiful Princess Aurora who becomes
enthralled with a handsome prince.
Enjoy the sounds of the musical based on Tchaikovsky’s ballet. This is one family
friendly event that is sure to be a hit with children and friends.

Lambarena and a World Premiere
Featuring Lambarena by Val Caniparoli
World Premiere by Christopher Hampson
Lambarena is the wonderful combination of the musical rhythms and sounds of
African Dance blended with Classic Ballet. Patrons will also discover the premier
by Christopher Hampson, who devised the trendy and breathtaking Sinfonietta
Giocosa for the Atlanta Ballet.
