Atlanta Happenings – Ninth Annual Oyster Crawfish Festival announced at Park Tavern in Midtown Atlanta. For the past eight years thousands of music and food loving festival goers gather annually at Park Tavern to celebrate the Oyster Crawfish Festival. For the 9th installment on Saturday, March 31, Park Tavern will once again serve up approximately ten thousand pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish brought in the night before – making it Atlanta’s Biggest Crawfish Festival.

Park Tavern will also serve fresh, regional fried, raw, and steamed oysters, delicious fried oyster and shrimp baskets, and more to a crowd of over five thousand revelers. Featuring live music performances throughout the day, Atlanta’s own The Soulphonics and Ruby Velle will warm up the stage for Cowboy Mouth – the hard hitting band out of New Orleans known for its high energy shows that are always full of surprises.

Park Tavern will also have a 16-foot ultimate Bloody Mary bar sponsored by Smirnoff with all the fixings, ice-cold beer courtesy of Heineken, and plenty of room on its expansive patio overlooking Piedmont Park and the Midtown skyline. The festival begins at 2 p.m. for ages 21 and up. Visit parktavern.com to purchase tickets, which start at $15.
