Keep in mind all your needs and requirements before you travel and then choose a deal online that will not only provide you with all that you want, but will also save you a lot of money to spend on other activities.

Planning to go to the worlds largest theme park for some entertainment? Well, why not also consider finding the best possible airfare to Las Vegas? It’s not that difficult since Internet has made everything so easy and within reach of everybody.

You will be able to see which airline would be the best for you, should you consider a direct flight or a multi-stop flight and should you buy a round trip ticket or one-way. These and other decisions will become easy once you have enough information about the latest trends and habits of airlines that schedule flights to Las Vegas from different cities. Let’s find out some more about it.

Look for discount airfares for Las Vegas on the Internet. What you will find is a list of user-friendly websites with a search field to help you narrow down your search by entering the location from where you will be taking off and your departure date. They will then find the cheapest flight possible for you.

Consider performing a search by airports. For example, if you are flying from London you will be given a list of popular London airports like Heathrow, and Gatwick etc. Clicking on one of the airports will take you to a page where all flights are listed from that place to Las Vegas. You can also search for cheap flights for Christmas, New Year and Easter. Since these are peak holiday seasons many sites have special discount deals for these dates. You can even book way in advance, like four to six months before the flight to get cheaper airfare.

The travel deals and packages offered by these websites include not only the plane ticket, but also your hotel accommodation expenses and the activities you will be taking part in while you are in Las Vegas. You can select from a number of shows and events listed on these websites to see which package suits you the best. Also try to locate a cheap package that includes car rental facility as well. This way you won’t have any difficulty in arriving to your destination anywhere in Las Vegas once you are there.

These packages are usually very cheap as compared to individual charges of all these activities. You will also be given an opportunity to select the kind of food you would want to have in Las Vegas. Planning a trip to Las Vegas is nearly as eventful as actually arriving there and being a part of all that.

Save up to 75% on your overall expenses when you choose to buy one of these combo packages. PriceLine is a popular online consolidator website where you can go to search for a cheap flight to Las Vegas given your preferences. Expedia and Travelocity are equally popular for providing cheap airfare to travelers wishing to go to Las Vegas for a vacation.

Going to Las Vegas will be a lifetime experience for you and your family, so don’t plan it haphazardly. Keep in mind all your needs and requirements and then choose a deal online that will not only provide you with all that you want, but will also save you a lot of money to spend on other activities.

John Portman: Art and Architecture” is a wonderful exhibit that can now be viewed at the High Museum through April 18, 2010. This venue features some of the extraordinary projects designed by the incomparable Atlanta native.

In addition to many of John Portman’s design plans, large-scale photographs, articles and detailed architectural models will be shown.

Perhaps the most interesting works in the gallery are John Portman’s paintings and sculpture. Most of these have never been publicly presented at an exhibit before.

John Portman graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1956. In 1967 he garnered international acclaim for his design of the 22 story atrium, the first of its kind, in the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.

Downtown Atlanta is home to many of his other landmark projects including the Westin Peachtree Plaza, The Atlanta Marriott Marquis, AmericasMart, and the Peachtree Center Complex. AmericasMart is currently the largest wholesale marketplace in the world.

Even more compelling are his international projects such as the Incheon 151 Tower at Songdo Landmark City, Incheon, Korea which will be the world’s secong largest building when completed, or the Zhe Jiang Fortune Finance Center in Hangzhou, China. Other works include Tomorrow Square, Shanghai, China; Beijing Yintai Centre, Beijing, China; Marina Square, Singapore; Jin Hongqiao International Center, Shanghai China; and the Wenzhou Zhixin Plaza, Wenzhou, China.

Other projects highlighted at the fascinating High Museum event, titled John Portman: Art and Architecture, comprise of Entelechy I — his stunning Atlanta home built in 1964; Entelechy II his sprawling home in Sea Island, Georgia; Sun Trust Plaza, Atlanta; the Embarcadero Center and Hyatt Regency, San Fransico, the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, Los Angeles, California; and the magnificent Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan.

Leonardo da Vinci Exhibit at the High Museum

Leonardo da Vinci ExhibitLeonardo da Vinci — Hand of the Genius” Exhibit is now Premiering at the High Museum in Atlanta through Feb. 21.

This extraordinary Atlanta event at the High Museum of Art includes 50 works from Leonardo da Vinci and also Donatello, Rubens and Verrochio.

One of the more prominent works features Rustici’s colossal bronze sculptures from the facade of the Baptistery in Florence. Other works include collections from the Vatican Museums, the British Museum, the Musee du Louvre and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

There are new works divulged at the High Museum that are attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. The recent restoration of Verrocchio’s Relief for the Silver Alter revealed two of the figures made very differently than the others. It indicates they were created by Leonardo da Vinci and not Verrochio who was his teacher.

Leonardo da Vinci: Hand of the Genius is the first exhibit to examine the masters interest into Renaissance sculpture. More than 20 sketches and studies by Leonardo will be on exhibit for the very first time in the United States.
