Atlanta_haunted_housesFrom Haunted Houses to Hal­loween Par­ties there’s is lots of fun and scary things to do in Atlanta this Hal­loween week­end.  It’s the last week­end for Scare­crows In the Gar­den at the Atlanta Botan­i­cal Gar­dens. Another pop­u­lar event is the Pump­kin Fes­ti­val tak­ing place this week­end at Stone Moun­tain Park.

Some of the more pop­u­lar fes­ti­vals include the annual Atlanta Pride Fes­ti­val start­ing Sat­ur­day 9am at Pied­mont Park. The Howl-o-ween Fes­ti­val is at 1-3pm at Cen­tral Park in Atlantic Sta­tion. Then there’s The Great Pump­kin Fes­ti­val begins at 2pm in Down­town Canton.

There are some great Hal­loween Party’s in Atlanta this week­end espe­cially the Hal­loween Eve Mis­chief Night Ball going on tonight at the stu­dio. Other pop­u­lar Atlanta Hal­loween Par­ties tomor­row night include the Brouhaha Spook­tac­u­lar, Spi­ral­ween, and The Bert Show Big Wicked Halloween.

The Run Like Hell Race is a 5K run that takes place Oct 31 9am at the Oak­land Cemetary.

Primal Atlanta Outdoor Event

Taste Net­work presents “PRIMAL Atlanta”, the first annual, out­door event of local butch­ers and chefs prepar­ing a bounty of her­itage meats from Gum Creek Farms over hard­wood fires on Sat­ur­day, Novem­ber 21, 2009 from 6 to 9 p.m.

This Atlanta food event is being held at Sweet­Wa­ter Brew­ing Co., guests will be able to explore local fla­vors from chefs and butch­ers and sam­ple bou­tique wines in the Ore­gon Wine Expe­ri­ence. Hawks Win Home Opener!

Atlanta Hawks started off the sea­son in win­ning fash­ion beat­ing the Indi­ana Pac­ers 120–109 at Philips Arena.

Al Hor­ford has a mon­ster game lead­ing the way for the Hawks with 24 points and 16 rebounds. Joe John­son added 25 points and Josh Smith scored 18 points.

The Hawks had a one point lead enter­ing the fourth quar­ter but then the Pac­ers folded like a lawn chair. Indi­ana had a dis­mal 25 turnovers essen­tially defeat­ing themselves.

It was the third year in a row the Hawks won their home opener. Next up for the Hawks is the Wash­ing­ton Wiz­ards Fri­day Night at Philips Arena. Get tick­ets here!
