From Haunted Houses to Halloween Parties there’s is lots of fun and scary things to do in Atlanta this Halloween weekend. It’s the last weekend for Scarecrows In the Garden at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Another popular event is the Pumpkin Festival taking place this weekend at Stone Mountain Park.
Some of the more popular festivals include the annual Atlanta Pride Festival starting Saturday 9am at Piedmont Park. The Howl-o-ween Festival is at 1-3pm at Central Park in Atlantic Station. Then there’s The Great Pumpkin Festival begins at 2pm in Downtown Canton.
There are some great Halloween Party’s in Atlanta this weekend especially the Halloween Eve Mischief Night Ball going on tonight at the studio. Other popular Atlanta Halloween Parties tomorrow night include the Brouhaha Spooktacular, Spiralween, and The Bert Show Big Wicked Halloween.
The Run Like Hell Race is a 5K run that takes place Oct 31 9am at the Oakland Cemetary.

Primal Atlanta Outdoor Event

Taste Network presents “PRIMAL Atlanta”, the first annual, outdoor event of local butchers and chefs preparing a bounty of heritage meats from Gum Creek Farms over hardwood fires on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 6 to 9 p.m.
This Atlanta food event is being held at SweetWater Brewing Co., guests will be able to explore local flavors from chefs and butchers and sample boutique wines in the Oregon Wine Experience. General admission tickets for the wine, beer and meat tastings are $55; and, all-inclusive VIP tickets are $100 and include reserve wines, Benton’s Bacon Bar, grilled artisan cheeses, local brews and BBQ. Hawks Win Home Opener!

Atlanta Hawks started off the season in winning fashion beating the Indiana Pacers 120-109 at Philips Arena.
Al Horford has a monster game leading the way for the Hawks with 24 points and 16 rebounds. Joe Johnson added 25 points and Josh Smith scored 18 points.
The Hawks had a one point lead entering the fourth quarter but then the Pacers folded like a lawn chair. Indiana had a dismal 25 turnovers essentially defeating themselves.
It was the third year in a row the Hawks won their home opener. Next up for the Hawks is the Washington Wizards Friday Night at Philips Arena. Get tickets here!
