Pay to drive in the HOV lanes?

So let me ask the question…who are the braini­acs that came up with this idea? Gwin­net­tites are going to vote for actu­ally pay­ing to drive in the HOV lanes for faster com­mutes dur­ing rush hour.

The more crowded the high­way is, the more they can charge. The pro­posal is to toll the HOV lanes from Pleas­ant Hill Rd to 285 on 85 North and South and will begin con­struc­tion in 2011 if passed. Are you kid­ding me, what’s next? Let me guess they are going to start charg­ing for clean air. Oh I for­got, there isn’t any. Maybe the politi­cians will want to charge for using the restrooms.

Before you real­ize it, Atlanta will become one big pay toll. Every ten feet you walk you are going to have to give a dol­lar to the gov­ern­ment. Bet­ter hold onto your wal­lets before those blood­suck­ing money laun­der­ing politi­cians get a hold of it.
